The college was founded in October, 2016 by Imam Ridwanullah Jamiu under the aegis of LEMU as one of his ingenious endeavours in mentoring young minds regarding the memorisation of the Holy Book and also to provide an atmosphere where first school leavers can successfully attain both the Islamic and secular education simultaneously at the expense of neither of them.
At Lekki Qur’an Memorisation College, we offer a 3-year course for primary school leavers to memorise the entire Qur’an in approximately two (2) years and engage them in a rigorous revision exercise for one (1) year after which a graduation programme is conducted to commemorate the success of the newly produced Imams of the Ummah. Despite being able to memorise the Qur’an effectively within the span of 3 years, our students also take the subjects listed below to enable them take the Junior Secondary School Certificate Examinations (JSSCE) which affords them admission into the Senior Secondary School (SSS).

The Lekki Qur’an Memorisation College aims at an epoch-making Islamic centre where people can acquire and learn the knowledge of Islam through the mastering and memorisation of the Holy Qur’an and traditions of Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam); nurturing and encouraging people from all corners of life, strengthening their belief in Allah, developing their innate creativity and inquisitive nature in the pursuance of truth and guidance while anchoring their hearts and souls in a moral framework of a God-centred life.
To prepare Huffāz who would carry the Book of Allah and the sayings of Prophet Muhammad in their hearts, understand them, implement their teachings and share them with others.
