The college was founded in October, 2016 by Imam Ridwanullah Jamiu under the aegis of LEMU as one of his ingenious endeavors in mentoring young minds regarding the memorization of the Holy Book and also to provide an atmosphere where first school leavers can successfully attain both the Islamic and secular education simultaneously at the expense of neither of them both.
At Lekki Qur’an Memorization College, we offer a 3-year course for primary school graduates to memorize the entire Qur’an in approximately 2 years and engage them in a rigorous revision exercise for 1 year after which a graduation program is conducted to commemorate the success of the newly produced Imams of the Ummah. Despite being able to memorize the Qur’an effectively within the span of 3 years, our students also take the following subjects:

The Lekki Qur’an Memorization College aims at an epoch-making Islamic center where people can acquire and learn the knowledge of Islam through the mastering and memorization of the Holy Qur’an and traditions of the Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam); nurturing and encouraging people from all corners of life, strengthening their belief in Allah, developing their innate creativity and inquisitive nature in the pursuance of truth and guidance while anchoring their hearts and souls in a moral framework of a God-centered life.
